Karnataka Mithila Sanskritik Parishad (KMSP) was founded with a singular purpose: to be a home away from home for the Maithil community in Karnataka. Recognizing the need to preserve our rich heritage while embracing life in Karnataka, KMSP serves as a cultural bridge.

To safeguard and promote the Maithili language, Madhubani art forms, and Vedic traditions among the younger generation living away from their roots.

To create a strong, supportive network for Maithil families in Karnataka, offering a platform for social interaction and mutual assistance.

To harmoniously blend Mithila's cultural ethos with the vibrant local culture of Karnataka, fostering distinct yet inclusive community growth.
Our Focus Areas
We focus on organizing key cultural festivals like Mithila Mahotsav, Chhath Puja, and Mithila Diwas. Beyond festivities, we conduct workshops on Maithili language and Madhubani painting.
